ShiShi is a Brooklyn-based experimental electronic artist crafting dark, cinematic soundscapes at the crossroads of ambient, industrial, and trip-hop.

Influenced by Lorn, Arca, Aphex Twin, and Björk — moving between minimal and dense, fragile and abrasive. With a background in philosophy, sound becomes a space where logic and intuition meet.

Drawing is how a track starts, most of the time. Before the patch, before the sample, there's a shape on paper. Sometimes the shape becomes a track. Sometimes it stays a shape.

№ 013

Brooklyn at 3 AM is louder than I expected. I thought I was moving toward silence. I was moving toward a different kind of attention.

№ 014

If a track survives three nights of doubt, it stays. The rule is older than the project.

№ 001

The difference between a bass note and a sentence: a sentence needs you to understand it. The bass note waits until you stop needing to.
